I do not by the top end brande name clothes unless they are from a second hand store. I don't like to spend the money on the clothes when she is only going to wear them for a few months.

What do you think?

I agree, I would rather spend the money on something my child can use in the long run. Clothes are a short term thing especially in the first year because they grow so fast.

I never bought brand name clothes for my baby but my family did so she did wear brand name items sometimes

I don't do too many brand name clothes for the baby. I like to get the homemade clothes from my grandmother and aunts, they are sooo cute.

Before gas went up to $100 a gallon we spent a lot of money at baby gap. Probably too much money! But we got a of green dog stuff on sale at Macy's for this summer's clothes, so we've done that this season instead.
