Before you choose last year’s most popular names like Isabella, Aidan, Ava, and Noah, discover our baby name trend predictions for 2010.

Celebrity Baby Names

It’s no surprise that parents-to-be are still looking to the stars for inspiration when naming their babies. Monikers such as Gavin, Ryder, Isla, and Sienna from the pages of celebrity gossip mags, and reality tv names like Khloe, Kendra, Rob, and Jake will do their fair share of climbing in 2010.

Celebrity babies will continue to inspire parents of new babies this year. In 2009, Twilight’s Cam Gigandet gave his daughter the name Everleigh Ray, and Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck welcomed the newest addition to their family with the very feminine name of Seraphina Rose. Nicole Richie and Joel Madden gave birth to son Sparrow James Midnight, and Kourtney Kardashian welcomed baby Mason Dash (Dash after her father’s nickname) rounding out last year’s celebrity births. Matthew McConaughey kicked off 2010 by welcoming daughter Vida to the family, but the general celeb population seems to show that wild baby name trend is on its way out.
